You know, as much as I would hate to agree with you, I will... It has everything to with the weekend in Jersey. You can all point and say "We were right" but in all reality you would be wrong. It is not about Drama, its not about fighting, its about one simple thing.... Reality...

It is really kind of tough to explain, and this happened a lot quicker than I thought it would, as this exodus was all planned out, and supposed to have been executed early next week. All I can do is speak on my behalf, and not Boom's...

Posting on a message board is fun, and it becomes more and more fun once you become accepted into the group. When I came along, I never expected to be accepted into the group, alone, become what I did.. It became a show to me, a place to spend my afternoon, doing or saying anything the fuck I wanted, and knowing that their would be no recourse. I said funny things, nasty things, and just plain mean things, depending 100% on my attitude at the time. I hurt feelings, I made enemies, but most of all, I made some great friends.. Enough to which the whole game we call the Internet, became too real. I could no longer be myself and have fun, and the people surrounding me were all friends..

When I got the opportunity to meet everyone, I was skeptical, not because of any reason, but because once you meet, see the person you have talked to on email, PM, IM, or even the phone, things will become different.. I didn't want what I had to change, but it does.

I think a lot of us people who went to Jersey, took the sheets, masks, walls, or whatever it is that keeps us a little mysterious, threw it to the side, and really let the guard down. I think more moments were shared between the people that went, than anybody might have imagined. I think real life bonds were formed that will never be broken. Most of all though, I think the fantasy was stolen, and everything that was once a game, is now real. Real names and faces are associated with each post made.

I love Boomchick, on and off the boards. She is a wonderful person, that brought me from what some of you seen as a real fucking asshole, and really helped me change some things to turn me a little better.

I hope she in turn, can figure out what's wrong, fix it, and return to some of the people she calls friends..

Although I did not make the post at BayBay's board, it may be dead on.. I need to take a break, if not, get lost, and start over. I am sure we will see eachother again, but for the time being, Kev needs a break.

I hardly posted at Boom's board, for several reason's, so I don't know all that went down. I do know however that People are wondering why the board was shut down with out any warning. From what kevin just wrote about. Thing's got to personal. That in my opinion is no reason to close a board with out any reason as to why. I can understand if you want to close it that's fine, but give your posters some notice.

Now as to it being to personal. I have to ask what did you expect when you post with the same people day after day after day? Then you take off and meet them.

I am not going to go into this to deep, as there seem's to be more to it than just that.

However. If anyone want's a place to post. You are more than welcome at the castle. If not that's fine to. i am just telling you the door is open.

Boom told me that she didn't feel comefortable at the castle. She didn't know why, she just was. that is why I say if you don't want to post there it's fine.

Boom if you read this. you have spent a lot of time trying to bring people closer together.
So I will try the same for you. if you need some one to talk to you can pm me I am alway's ready to listen.

even after reading kev's post, i am not going to lie and say i understand what happened because i don't. many of us have met in real life and there are many people i have met in person who i originally met on the internet that are now a true part of my life and forever will be *cough*daddyofmahbaby*cough* so i really don't understand what that had to do with the board being up. but if the board needed to be shut down, then it needed to be shut down and i respect that.
i just hope that boom stays in contact, comes to shappy hiny, something...

Hmmmmm....I've met quite a few people from the internet. To those I've met (and they all know who they are), they are all great people. I didn't dislike one of them.

But....i guess when there is a lot of people involved...personalities cross and sometimes it doesn't work out. I just don't let it get personal....I guess I'm a "blow it off" kinda person though.

I have met a shitload of people from the Happy/Shiney and the Orignal Kid Rock board.
Some I liked, some I dont care if I ever see again. Big whoop. Why doesnt someone just come right out and say why the board was deleted?
I like you Boom, I had fun here in Cali with you and your hubby. I know Lucy feels the same. I have been wondering what your deal has been since then?


Sometimes people get along and sometimes peole dont. That is a fact of life.

I just happened here by accident, I was on Hostboard.com looking at the five most recent posts and this was one of them.

As a complete, distant unknowing observer, the deleter/apologist should have first tried selectively deleting posts that were inappropriate or hurtful.

Anything that had happened before a life-changing incident related to this forum should have not been deleted without consulting those you felt close to.

I think apologizing is the biggest scam going in the world today. It empowers people to do brash, crappy things knowing they have a way out.

You should apologize for letting the "word" apology free you to make rash choices. If it was a cry for help, then let your friends help you.
